| January 2008 | Resident Musician Richard | We enjoy Richard coming in to school. He teaches us about music. |

| December 2007 | Key Stage One Christmas Concert | Key Stage One put on a performance of Babushka at Christmas. |
| Christmas party | We had DJ Casey organised our Christmas party this year. We had a great time. | |
| DT Day | We invited our parents/carers to our Design and Technology Day. It was fun working with them. | |
| Foundation Stage Christmas Concert | Nursery and Foundation put on a performance of the Christmas story. | |
| Creative artists | We have been lucky to work with 2 artists as part of our work with Creative Parterships. They were both musicians. |

| Brackenhurst | Year 2 children went on a Christmas activity day at Brackenhurst. It was great fun! | |
| November 2007 | Quantom Theatre | Quantom Theatre came to put on a performance about important it is to recycle. |
| Big Writing Day | Richard, a musician working with us through Creative Partnerships started the day by playing some instruments. We thought about the different sounds transport makes. |

| Garage Trip | We visited the local garage as part of our topic work. | |
| Visitors | We welcome lots of visitors into school to help us. |

| Police car visit | We enjoyed the day when the polcie car came to visit! They came to support our topic on transport. |

| October 2007 | Firemen visit | We enjoyed having the firemen visit us as part of our topic on transport and journeys. |
| New addition to playground! | We enjoyed watching the workmen erect a new shelter in our playground. | |
| Big Writing/Talking Day | We enjoyed helping Steve create and tell a space storyand then did some writing and talking about what we had heard. | |
| Harley Gallery visit | As part of our ongoing work with Creative Partnerships and our resident artist Jane, Year 2 children were able to visit the Harley gallery. | |
| Harvest | We took the theme of Africa for our Harvest celebration. | |
| Sponsored walk | We walked round the school grounds to raise money for an African school garden as part of our Harvest offering. | |
| September 2007 | Resident Artist | Year 2 children have enjoyed working with our resident artist, Jane in a space themed project. |
| African Classroom | As part of our Harvest celebration in school we raised money for a school garden in Africa. To help us learn about what Africa was like we went into a mobile African classroom. | |
| Life Lorry | When the Life Lorry came to school we learnt about how our body works. It was fun meeting Harold the puppet giraffe! | |
| Education Welfare visit | We learnt how important it is for us to be in school every day and arrive on time in the morning. |

| Astronomer visit | Key stage one enjoyed a visit by a local astronomer as part of their space topic. | |
