Weather Advice
With the weather warming up we need to be thinking about protecting our skin against the harmful rays of the sun, The sun makes us all feel good but parents and carers of young children should be aware that sunburn causes long term skin damage and can increase the risk of skin cancer later in life. Children should always wear a hat, t-shirt and put on some sun cream. Try and let them play in the shade at the hottest times of the day,
At school we encourage children to bring hats and sun cream with them so they can re apply the cream if necessary during the day, It is also important to drink lots of water so try and bring your water bottle to school and fill it up in the dining room with nice ice cold water from the water fountain.
